Pink / Peach Butcher Paper for Smoking Brisket — 24 Inch x 150 Foot Roll
You've spent hours building the bark. Choose a wrap that helps protect your work. Butcher BBQ Pink / Peach Butcher Paper is an unwaxed, unbleached, uncoated food-contact paper used for wrapping brisket, ribs, pork shoulder, and other smoked meats.
Unlike a tightly sealed foil wrap, butcher paper allows some moisture vapor to pass through. That makes it a popular choice for Texas-style brisket cooks who want to help manage moisture while preserving more of the bark's texture through the finish.
Why Pitmasters Choose Pink Butcher Paper
- 24 inches wide: Gives you room to wrap larger cuts such as full packer briskets.
- 150-foot roll: Cut the amount you need for each cook.
- Unwaxed, unbleached, uncoated: Designed for food-contact wrapping without a wax or plastic coating.
- More breathable than foil: Allows some moisture vapor to escape instead of sealing it all inside.
- Inner core feet included: Designed for use with a compatible paper cutter or dispenser.
When and How to Wrap Brisket
Wait until the bark has developed and holds its color and texture before wrapping. Many briskets reach this stage during the stall, often around 160–170°F internal temperature, but the bark itself should guide your decision.
Pull enough paper for a secure overlap, typically using two layers. Wrap the brisket snugly, fold the ends underneath, and return it to the smoker with the seam held in place. Continue cooking until the meat is tender, then rest it appropriately before slicing.
